i too poem
i too sing America I am the darker brother
they tell me racial slangs to my face
when they leave i laughand ignore them
and become strong
tomorrow
ill be strong
when they come
nobody'll dare
tell me
racial slangs to my face
then
besides
they'll see me as thier equal
and will be ashamed
i am too American
what does it mean to be american what is the american life
a n american means a person who is patriotic and loves his or her country. The American life is a life where a person can live his or her dreams like getting a job, traveling and much more.An Amercian doesn't just mean a redneck who loves guns drinks beer and has a thick beard who lives in texas it means that a person loves the country. If a person really loves his country he can join the military to fight for it.The american dream is about equality and freedoms like the freedom of speech freedom or religion the right to bear arms and much more, we are able to choose our own leader like our governor and president. It is also the place where people from around the world could come and live out their dreams
The article we have found talked about the ethical issues on prosthetic. they relate to the our universal theme change because the prosthetic are advancing and its inevitable.what i learned was that the prosthetic are more advance than i thought they would be and also very expensive. I also learned that it can take years and a lot of money to make only one prosthetic. The other thing i learned that there are some ethical issues on prosthetic. our driving question is what is some of the ethical issues on prosthetic limbs.i hope to find more information the some of the problems on the ethical issues on the prosthetic did change our from WW1 to renaissance and we finally settled with the ethical issues on prosthetic. our collaboration is going fairly well. Everything is working well . the only problem is the different period but other than that everything is working very well
Rene Descartes
Descartes philosophy is that every thing is false till proven true.this is important because the image above shows the mind and cloud but the mind is the irrefutable truth and the cloud is doubt. the cloud is full of doubt because is shows authority and no cloud looks like that of the image above. People might think its a bush a piece of cotton candy instead of a cloud. the mind is the truth or the irrefutable truth because it helps us perceive the image above as a cloud or other things like a bush

How does the adaptation of nanotechnology cause ethical implications by exploiting personal privacy?
Adaptation can be positive or negative.
Ethics: moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity
The government wants to use Nanotechnology as a weapon or a tool, and people can be split on this topic. On one hand, people can agree with this idea while others can disagree with this as an ethical issue because it can fall into the wrong hands.
For example, according to an article by Anzo Nano, the government wants to make a battle suit out of nanotechnology. It will be made out of nanofibers and “Polymer molecular muscle ribbons in the suit can magnify a soldier's strength by up to ten times”. This would increase the ability of soldiers. However, the same nanotechnology can be used to track people, spy, or invade people’s privacy on a daily basis.
Adaption Occurs Over Time
Changes Over Time: The evolution of nanotechnology has evolved over time.It has become more advanced and more miniature in size. The article by Jerry Flattum, “The History of Nanotechnology” states that “The history of nanotechnology, in some sense dates back to prehistoric times when early humans/hominoids made use of naturally-occurring, nanoscale element”, For example, which shows that nanotechnology was used many centuries ago.
LANGUAGE OF THE DISCIPLINE
Adaption Leads to Change
The adaptation of nanotechnology has lead into chips becoming as small as a fingernail. According to an article titled,“The Evolution of Nanotechnology”,
?????
Adaption can be planned or spontaneous
“With the advent of new technologies, including nanotechnology, one should consider both potential benefits and unintended risks to human health and the environment that might accompany development and use of the technology”, according to an article written by ????????
BIG IDEAS
Student-led Research: SURVEY
We surveyed 20 people between the ages of 18-57+. We asked them the following questions:
Student-led Research: ANALYSIS
Driving Question:
How does the adaptation of nanotechnology cause ethical implications by exploiting personal privacy
Names of student researchers:
Gregory Delgado
Andrew Hinojosa
Jesus Zambrano
Grade level: 8th
Mentor teacher:
Ms Park
Special notes about handling and or placement or presentation space needed: nanotechnology is very powerful and can exploit personal information
Ending Question - Where do I fit in? If I had access to nanotechnology, what motives would be necessary to have in order to use it in an ethical way? The dot needs to be an ethics icon.

LANGUAGE OF THE DISCIPLINE
- Nanotechnology-the branch of technology that deals with dimensions and tolerances of less than 100 nanometers, especially the manipulation of individual atoms and molecules.
- Carbon fibers-a strong, stiff, thin fiber of nearly pure carbon, made by subjecting various organic raw materials to high temperatures, combined with synthetic resins to produce a strong, lightweight material used in construction of aircraft and spacecraft.
- Ethical implications-it would be a consequence touching on ethical decision-making and/or attitudes.

BIG IDEAS
- Nanotechnology is adapting for warfare.
- Nanotech can exploit privacy or protect privacy.
- Nanotechnology could be used improperly by more people than just the government.
- Where does Nanotech come from and how was it started?
- According to the article, “The History of Nanotechnology”, written by Jerry Flattum “Miniaturization was certainly nothing new in 1959; after all, the electron microscope was in full use by then. But, as far back as the 5th Century B.C.” this shows that people were into making things more compact but as time went on the idea of making things smaller also applied to technology and thus nanotechnology was born
Student-led Research: SURVEY
We surveyed 20 people between the ages of 18-57+. We asked them the following questions:
- How old are you?
- The government wants to use nanotechnology in warfare. For example, they want to create a battle suit that is protective and can monitor the vital organs of a soldier,
and as a way for silent communication between soldiers. These are just a few of the possibilities that are being explored. How do you feel about the use of nanotechnology in warfare? - In what ways can “big brother”(an expression that refers to the conspiracy of mass public surveillance by the U.S.) use nanotechnology towards the general public?
- The Police recommend that you get trackers put inside your body so they can find you easily in case you commit a crime or in case you are missing. How do you feel about this?
- Would it be ok for the Government to be listening to your phone calls and knowing your location at all times?
- An employer or a company wants to embed nanotechnology or microchips in their employees’ skin to improve workplace efficiency. That way, a person doesn’t have to clock in and clock out. The company will know when the person is working and where they are in the building at all times. How do you feel about this situation?
Student-led Research: ANALYSIS
- Age is important because of a person viewpoint on technology. Younger people may not understand the consequences of privacy and security because they do not yet have jobs, finances, or vote.
- Most of the people surveyed either did not care or were fine with the use of nanotechnology in war.
- The people surveyed thought that the government would use nanotechnology more negatively than positively.
- The people surveyed were 50/50 on the idea of nano-trackers embedded in their skin.
- Almost all of the people surveyed were not fine with the government listening in on their phone calls
- Most of the people surveyed did not think it was right for company to implant (nano)chips under their employees’ skin for reasons of efficiency.
